Tour puts art on local map

Nature and art lovers will again be able to share their passions as the art gallery of Peterborough presents its annual Kawartha Autumn Studio Tour on Oct 3 and 4 The tour is a chance to visit the thriving artists' community that exists in Peterborough and surrounding area during the peak of the changing of the leaves. Artists will be at work in their studios or homes drawing, painting, sculpting, etching, working at pottery, jewelry, college, fine art conservation, glass woodturning, fabric and textile.

Studios will be open from 10 a.m. until 5.pm. The tour is free and self guided, meaning you can begin and end anywhere along the route. All visitors have to do is look for the distinctive signs with bold red and black lettering.
