Northview Heights Secondary School graduate Andrea Marcus (then Andrea Sugarman) is the artist in residence at the Mississauga Living Arts Centre. After school she went on to study Fine Arts at York University and do graduate work at the Ontario College of Art.

The self-taught sculptor has taken classes in Italy as well. Marcus works in a variety of mediums including bronze, stone, oil paints and most recently blown glass. She has shown her work at many shows around Toronto as well as Montreal, Tampa, Paris, and Venice and as far away as Japan.

Some of her glass work is currently on display in the Studio Cafˇ in the Four Seasons Hotel, Toronto. She also shows out of her home studio and gallery.
